The Fibaron Door and Window Device is battery powered and Z-Wave compatible. It combines the functionality of 3 devices (magnetic, binary and temperature sensor) in one easy to use product. It can be used to monitor whether a door, window, blind or garage door is being opened or closed. In addition, any binary output sensor in the Z-Wave network can be integrated using this sensor. For example, motion sensor, flood sensor, alarm, etc.

The device can be connected to the DS18B20 1-Wire temperature sensor.

The product consists of two parts. One part is mounted on the moving part of the window/door and the other one on the fixed part. The device must be connected to the Z-Wave network via a remote control or other Z-Wave controller. When motion is detected, the device sends a signal to the main controller in the Z-Wave network.
