And because the Heavy Duty Switch is part of the Gen5 generation, it surpasses all previous models. It is built with the latest chip, the Z-Wave 500 series, providing a 50% increase in radio range and a 250% increase in communication speed.

You need to have a Z-Wave controller to connect this module to your network. Each Z-Wave module functions as a wireless repeater with other modules to provide full coverage of your home.
