Fibaro Door/Window Sensor 2

FIBARO Door/Window sensor 2 is battery-powered and compatible with a Z-Wave sensor. The sensor can be used to monitor whether a door, window, window blind or garage door opens or closes. In addition, the fixed built-in temperature sensor measures the temperature where the sensor is installed and reports to the Z-Wave control center.

The product consists of two elements. One of the parts is mounted on the movable part of the window or door. The other part is placed on the frame. The device must be connected to the network of a Z-Wave hub. If an action is detected, the sensor sends a signal to the main controller of the Z-Wave network.

Compared to it’s predecessor, FIBARO Door/Window sensor 2 has a more compact and rounded design and a fixed integrated temperature sensor. But the freely usable binary input is no longer available.
