4 In 1 ZIPATO Multisensor (Movement, Door/ Window, Temperature, Illumination)

The PSM02 multisensor offers 4 different functions: motion detection, door / window opening, temperature sensor and light sensor. It consists of two parts: a sensor and a magnet. They are designed to be mounted on a door or window, with the magnetic part on the opening part and the sensor on the fixed part.

When the door / window is opened, the magnetic sensor moves away and activates the detector, which sends a Z-Wave signal if the system is activated (this signal can be used by a siren or a Z-Wave controller).

It is suitable for use in security and / or automation systems. When the sensor is connected to security devices, it serves as a trigger mechanism, detecting changes in infrared radiation levels. If a person moves within range of the detector, a radio signal is sent that triggers the alarm.

The sensor can also be used to automatically control the lighting, depending on the light level. For example: The sensor sends a signal to the Z-Wave switch to turn on the lights when the door is opened and the room is dark.

The sending of information is done in cases of reported movement, significant changes in lighting and temperature, as well as when opening / closing the door / window on which the sensor is mounted. This allows the device to run extremely long before the battery needs to be replaced.

The sensor is connected to the Z-Wave network via a Z-Wave controller.
