Key Fob 4 Button Z-Wave.me

Secure Key Fob is a 4 button Z-Wave device that can simultaneously control other Z-Wave devices and activate predefined scenes in a controller or IP Gateway. Although it can control other devices, KFOB cannot act as a Z-Wave network controller (primary or secondary) and always needs a Z-Wave network controller to be included in a Z-Wave network. The device can be used in 5 operating modes:

• Direct control of devices using a single button
• Direct control of devices using two buttons
• Activate a scene via IP Gateway
• Direct activation of scenes
• Control nearby devices

Advantages of ZWave.me KFOB and Aeon labs Key Fobs:

• Aeon Labs advantages: controller with SUC/SIS support, On/Off and scene control
• Z-Wave.me advantages: based on SDK 4.5, Explorer Frame support, offeres control of nearby devices, scene control, one or two button mode

The device maintains secure communication when turned on by a controller that maintains secure communication. Also, if the receiving device does not maintain secure communication, then commands are sent automatically in the normal way.
