ZME_MTEMP is a temperature sensor that reads the measured value via Z-Wave. In addition, the device has a universal digital sensor that can detect external conditions via Z-Wave. The temperature sensor is used as a thermostat with which the heating or cooling devices can be controlled. This is done by setting minimum and maximum temperature values, upon reaching which a Z-Wave command is sent to Z-Wave controlled heating/cooling devices.
The device uses a battery and can be mounted on any flat surface. The temperature sensor has an accuracy of +/- 0.2K, but may need to be calibrated by changing the configuration parameters. Sudden changes in temperature can be detected with a delay due to the insulating function of the plastic box.
